Bitch neighbors usually lead to good OT discussion.

your dog is waking up your neighbors and she is the bitch?

Bring your dogs inside, that's so obnoxious

There's a doggie dog. I don't intentionally leave them outside.
I leave for work around 5-5:30am and since I typically work 12-16hr days I would prefer them not shite all over the inside of the house.

Try to correct the dog's behavior, but I don't see how people let stuff like this mess with their sleep.
The trash gets picked up in my neighborhood really early and the truck is LOUD. Same goes for trains, airplanes, police sirens, birds, whatever.

If you can't properly care for an animal and respect your neighbors at the same time, either move or get rid of the pet.

Lulz. I think I'm supposed to rabble on about property rights and stuff about this time.

I would have thought the same thing until I bought my house this year. The dog going ape shite next door does it.
I think it's because the garbage men move on quickly enough, while the dog goes on and on, and on, and on....
I've got two pups myself so I know the struggle.

You need to figure out something. You're being a terrible neighbor, and this is coming from a multi-dog owner.

I guess you're right. I say try to correct the behavior, but dogs bark. You're not going to eliminate it completely. However, I do have a problem with incessant barking.

Eh. A little premature on her part saying she'll contact the county. Clearly I'm not home and this is the first time I'm hearing about it while I've been living here. Plus always think its a bit immature when you threaten like that in anonymity in first contact.
In general my fiancee is around and let's the dogs out after 6:30 and she's back back by 3-4pm. My guess is the neighbor is complaining after my fiancee left town for a few days and I had my usual hours of 5AM to 7-8PM. But I digress.

Buy a couple of bark collars for when you aren't there. Problem solved. Could even get neighbors to split cost but they aren't that expensive.

Don't be too upset when the neighbor brings home two dogs and puts them outside to bark at 3am.

Why would you even mention the neighbor paying anything??
It's not his animal or responsibility.

Take the advice of everyone here and do something about your damn dogs.

agreed. they did the right thing by contacting you directly and not calling cops, etc first.

I was you once. I did the responsible thing and sold the dog to a family that wanted him since as a single male then, I could not do anything else to stop the dog from bothering the neighbors who were doing nothing wrong.

Get bark collars for your dogs. They work.

There should be quiet hours in your neighborhood and your dog shouldn't be a nuisance during that time.
