Through 3 weeks, we are ranked:

#24 Total: 379.7ypg
#9 Run: 101.3ypg
#29 Pass: 278.3ypg
#21 Points: 24.0ppg (technically 21.7ppg w/o the pick 6 tied for #13)

Take out the week 1 breakdown:
#5 Total: 285.5ypg
#9 Run: 90.5ypg
#6 Pass: 195.0ypg
#9 Points: 17.5ppg (technically 14.0ppg w/o the pick 6 for #2)

if we limit dallas like we did the vikings, idk if it still will be enough to make people believe in this team. the naysayers have come out in full force (and they had a right after week 2). but after last week, i think we can finally start to get back to being the Saints we know and trust.

no better stage than primetime to show the masses who we are.

I have alway loved the saints

but this year we cannot seem to stop the run consistently among other issues.

And the Saints usually shine in primetime.

I would be totally convinced if the defense is successful this weekend but I deem it unlikely. A few terrible Romo picks aside, their offense is among the top 3 in the league. Demarco Murray is tearing it up on the ground (and probably en route to a rushing title) and Dez Bryant is a top 4 WR NO question. Their offensive line is very talented... standouts at every position. We will be lucky to hold them to 21 or less.

They may have the best offensive line in the NFL if not top 3. I'm actually more worried about stopping Murray than Dez.

Are these Week 2 and 3 rankings against other team's week 2 and 3 stats only? If not, this means nothing. Two games isn't a big enough sample size. Some teams have played nothing but shite offenses the last two weeks, others have played the saints, broncos, falcons, etc...

Of course, but think about it. THIS early in the year, 1 bad game skews it, and one REALLY good game skews it.

That's why I put "Sunshine Pumping"...

Really? We are the number 9 ranked D against the run even WITH the Atlanta game factored in... at least according to the OP.

Its including Atlanta. They hit us for ~120 yards, but compared to other teams we'd still be in the same rank

Well they were too busy throwing for 450 yards.

Does anyone really think the Browns or the Vikings offense without their best players are all that good. I have faith that the Cowboys will play down, but I'm worried about playing competent offenses this year.

We beat up on a team without the best running back of this decade and a rookie QB. Dallas will score on this d, but we should be able to score at will on that d.

Even though there are some things that are still worrisome (a few guys running free in the secondary, not getting to the QB enough), I definitely saw an improvement this past week. Granted it was against Bridgewater, but he actually wasn't bad.

The Saints beat a team that didn't have its starting QB and its offensive MVP.
If the Vikes win 6 games it will be a shock.

Beat Dallas and there will be a ray of hope, otherwise put your tickets on StubHub.

Sure, because not blowing away a team missing its starting QB (which is below avg btw) and All-Pro RB means we suck.

NE beat Oakland 16-9, I guess they're in deep shite too!

Go tell the Patriot fans they're done, over, finished, and old news because thats EXACTLY what you're saying.
