History/Science Podcasts?

Are podcasts only a sports thing or are there good podcasts on history and random science stuff? I primarily listen to sports stuff at work, but it would be nice to mix in some military history or science stuff.
Anyone got any good podcast sites for that sort of thing? TIA!

I started listening to the Joe Rogan Experience podcast a while back. He's an interesting dude and has a lot of fascinating guests all the time. His Graham Hancock interviews are some of my favorites.

Fraser Cain does some cool space/astronomy stuff, and Weatherbrains is cool for weather/meteorological type stuff - run by James Spann (from B'ham and others)

Check out Startalk with Neil DeGrasse Tyson. Its not just astrophysics as the title suggests. They talk about many topics and its very entertaining. He usually has a lower level comic cohost with him.

BBC - Desert Island Discs -- A celebrity is interviewed and plays their favorite records. A lot more interesting and entertaining than it sounds. On the air since 1942 -- it's the second oldest radio series in the world (after the Grand Ole Opry). 500+ episodes online -- I've listened to about 40-50, including Paul McCartney, Randy Newman, Mel Brooks, and even Field Marshall Montgomery (from 1969).
BBC - In Our Time -- Roundtable discussion: "Melvyn Bragg and his guests discuss the history of ideas - including topics drawn from philosophy, science, history, religion and culture."

Thanks guys! I knocked out one of Dan Carlin's today on American Imperialism in the 19th Century, awesome stuff!
My history is pretty good from WWI and on (like most folks), but before that I'm a little rusty so that one was great.
Definitely bookmarking this for future reference. Thanks again!
