Why don't we have more shows like Friday Night Lights?

when this first became a show back when I was in high school, I thought it was just a cheap spinoff from the movie.
However, since it kept getting recommended to me on Netflix, I decided to give it a shot. I'm completely hooked on it. The acting is questionable, but the story and the drama has blown away. I just watched the episode where Smash went to Coach Taylor's house to let him know he's going to aTm. When he thanked him for pushing him after his injury, I started to get teary eyed. But I immediately sucked it up cause I realized I'm a man.
I wish there were more shows like this that emphasize on the aspect of the characters achieving there goals in a very by overcoming their obstacles in a moral setting.

I feel like they kinda screwed themselves in the story lines. Just got to a point where they couldn't keep going forward IMO.
I wish he would have stayed at E Dillion at least a little while longer before the went for other things personally.

Seasons 3 and 5 is some of the best drama television to ever come on. Just hard hitting shite that hits you right in the feels. Just good all around stuff man.

the show is insanely entertaining, and I gobbled up every minute of it for sure, but you just can't think about it too hard or the whole thing falls apart.
That and S2 is so hilariously bad.

Just finished the last episode tonight. I'm sad it's over. Now I have nothing else to watch. It was better than I expexcted it to be. I liked it.

I don't think I've ever been more upset about watching the last episode of a series on Neftlix than FNL. So many hot females, and it was glorious till the end. GOAT.
