After a long day Friday, I went to Peche for my monthly visit. It was outstanding as always. I got a dozen, tuna crudo, crab claws, squash casserole, hush puppies, tuna dip, corn, and whole flounder. We also had a few other things too. The flounder came with a chili sauce and was outstanding.

Who doesn't like butter?

For dessert, I was torn between the peanut butter banana pie, the salted caramel cake or the praline ice cream. I said frick it and ordered all. They were all great. I'd give the edge to the banana.

After dinner, I returned home to have a few cocktails and watch a few episodes of The League. I wanted to get some rest for Saturday.

I woke up Sunday with a slight hangover. My go to cure is chocolate milk. I chugged a pint (500 calories) and got on the road.

Someone brought kolaches. I think I recall eating two.

I then kicked back with my Beam and watched some shitty Georgia Tech game. I did get to drink with a Chinese Bandit. He was a very humble man. I think I could have taken him though.

Cooking was easy this weekend, since we made shish kabobs. We had about 100 chicken and beef. They were great in the heat. It sucks we won't have many cool weather games.

I stayed out at the tailgate and drank with my buddy's uncle. He's a old baw that likes to drink scotch. We were having a good time until the scoring commenced by MSU. After the 3rd quarter, I decided we needed a rally. I suggested we put on some rally boudin. It was Billy's, and it was the first time I've tried it. I can see why people like it so much.

After the game, I had a few beers and headed home. When I was undressing, I found a surprise in my pants. Nutter Butter!!!!!!!!! I must have picked up and saved them for later.

Sunday I woke up and went to mass. I then ran to the dome. I was craving nachos or a hot dog. I went with a hot dog. It was awful. I think the encased a salt lick and threw it on a bun. At least it had a lot of stuffing. I threw the weenie on the ground and enjoyed the rest.

During halftime, the Sonic Boom from JSU performed. They put on a good show. The girls know how to move. I apologize for the shitty quality of the video.

After the game, I went to old Hyde Park. I don't recall the name of the bar now. After a few Beams, I walked to Delachaise.

I ordered beef bruschetta, fries, frog legs, and salmon johnny cakes.

The cakes were awesome. And all were tasty. It was a good meal to end the weekend on.

Stay fat, my friends.

-Arse

eta...Berg good running into yesterday. Hope you made it home safe. Those ramps in the dome can be tricky.

Prytania Bar, well at least the larger side. The small portion is Aline Beer Garden.

I used to be a legend in Hyde Park. I went to try and relive the glory days. I can't believe they closed the bar in like that.

The fact that someone always says this in his threads makes me think I must be a fatass because I definitely don't eat any healthier than him.

The frog legs at Delachaise are incredible. That flounder looks very impressive. It looks better than the whole redfish, imo.

I usually get the redfish. But I saw this flounder on a table next to me. I went with it, and I'm glad I did. It was about 3 lbs. The sauce was incredible.
