CBS just dumped Rihanna from its NFL telecasts after she tweeted some negative comments about CBS.

quote:

The network said Tuesday it was permanently editing a song featuring Rihanna's voice out of its Thursday night NFL telecasts — after the singer issued a profane tweet about it.

A portion of Jay-Z's "Run This Town" featuring Rihanna was cut from last Thursday's Baltimore Ravens vs. Pittsburgh Steelers game because CBS was covering the controversy over Ravens running back Rice's assault of his then-fiancee. CBS planned to use the song Thursday and for the rest of the season, but Rihanna tweeted, "CBS you pulled my song last week, now you wanna slide it back in this Thursday? ... Y'all are sad for penalizing me for this." She added an expletive.

Any sane person would agree with Rihanna.

They have essentially made her the victim again by punishing HER for being beaten by Chris Brown 4 years ago.

Now CBS is taking that lame "she used a naughty word" cop out to defend their heinous actions.

No, it was a stupid move by her. It would be stupid of you to trash your employer on social media, and you aren't world famous with millions of followers.

Just say, it is a shitty move.

They dump Rihanna because she was a victim of domestic violence.

Kinda adding insult to injury.

She trashed them after they fricked her.

Are you the type that doesn't mind getting fricked over and just takes it?

They dumped her because she has been beaten in the past.

Simple as that and insult to injury.

I'm not the type to trash the people who pay me, when I don't agree with certain decisions, on fricking social media. I'm not an idiot. You should do that. Next time something shitty happens at work, go trash your whole company on your twitter or facebook or LinkedIn. See what happens.

She doesn't work for the NFL dumbass.

They agreed to promote her. They fricked her over by going back on their agreement.

Do you generally just take getting screwed over? Guess you just aren't the type to defend yourself or stand up and speak out when you get stepped on.

We differ in that respect. A lot.

I can guarantee you it was contingent on her not doing stupid shite like this. You think they said "Hey, we'll promote you and we don't care if you talk shite about our main vehicle of promotion and source of revenue." Only if they said that, could it be considered reneging.

Bitching to the world is not standing up for yourself. If you don't understand that, we are indeed different.
