We are bringing a big group this weekend from McNeese and we all have tickets in the NEZ. How easy or hard will be to get in the student section area? STTDB

No issues. You can leave your section and walk into it.

As long as you're in the north endzone you can pretty much walk where you want.

I walked from East 50 yard line seats a few years ago at halftime to the student section.

It was a day game vs UF and we were squeezed between a bunch of blue hairs who didn't like it when you cheered too loud. It was hot as frick, too.

From the NEZ there is nothing that would stop you. You can just stroll right in.

From the west side, the corridor over the student section is narrow and kind of busy around kickoff with people walking onto and off the field, and they may stop you, but you can always just try again later when no one is looking. It's still no big deal.

Old people in the student section are annoying.

I'm guessing it's pretty easy to sneak a flask in when entering non SS gates

Easy.

But kind of an a-hole move for a big game. Just sit in your seat.

Speaking of strictness in student section seating. Ive heard that LSU has now limited student guess tickets to Non-SEC games only. Is this True? When I was there they would only deny student section guest tickets to the big games like Bama, Fla, maybe Auburn if there were good etc..

If so thats crazy, I brought guests all the time to the Arky, Ole Miss, Miss St Games when I was in college.

They have.

And it's stupid IMO.

They had already limited the total number of guest upgrades a game, and blacked out the big home games.

No need to black out all SEC games too.

They should sit in that part of the student section under the NEZ scoreboard that none of the real students ever use.
