Are you Saints fans sold on Ingram?

Didn't watch today but he looked decent against us week 1. Limited touches but made them count. Probably going to lose tomorrow with his wasted points on my bench. Do you think he's a reliable flex play or should I keep waiting it out?

He looked good again today. I might wait one more week though.

Vikings at home is a great matchup though.

First home game I honestly see Brees going off for 4-5 TDs airing it out.

But who knows

After the media crucifies Payton all week for not running the ball enough he lays it on thick at home.

Ingram-125 and 2 TD

He looks faster and more decisive. I have been a huge Ingram hater since we drafted him, but I have to say he looks good. For the first time he looks better than his backup (Ivory/Robinson). I actually think we should stop rotating Khiry in.

In the past Ingram always looked sluggish and his Bammer fanboys just claimed he needed 20 carries to "wear down the defense" before he could be effective. This year he is breaking off nice runs right off the bat.

What makes you think he is going to listen to that? This can't be the first time they'll call him out for it. Did he do anything differently the previous times?

Being at home they'll be up big and that might open up more room for the RBs

Nothing. Just prognosticating.

he's looked good really.

dude had like 83 yards but only 11 carries.

I don't get it. Seems like he should get more chances.

I love Ingram and have for some time now. However; the best we, as Saints fans, can hope for is that someone offers a pick or something for him in the next few weeks. Because one way or the other come next year, he's not resigning with us...With that said, he'll probably go somewhere and be a pro bowler in 2-3 years.

I guarantee if Ingram has a year like he's having right now, the Saints resign him.

Now Pierre Thomas... He gone.

I am sold on Ingram

I am not sold on Payton giving him enough touches to be a great fantasy player

Oh I have no doubt that after this season the Saints would love to resign Ingram. Problem is, the ball will be in his court and some team will come along who will offer him the opportunity to be a true #1. He won't turn that down. He's wanted to be the #1 since he came in the league. Our RBBC style doesn't suit him and I think he knows it...IMO.

They just resigned him to a 3 year deal this offseason.

This. Unless the team offers him more money than expected, another team will almost certainly offer him more money and/or a bigger role. It's a shame too, because Ingram has been beastly since the 2nd half of last season. Honestly, he's never been as bad as Saints fans make him out to be, he just never has had a consistent role.

It's a very cap friendly deal if we were to release him next year. They aren't keeping both Ingram and Thomas next year.
