The hero that the party needs, but the hero that party rejects.

He's the party's Bruce Wayne. Literally. He's worth just as much.

“I've already spoken out why I think it's the right thing to do to recognize same-sex marriage. But these things don't happen overnight. It's step-by-step and it's an evolution that, in this case, is taking us somewhere.”
Former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman Jr.

He's a little late. Nobody gives a shite any more but the hard core bible thumpers. Fastest cultural shift in US history.

How fast do you think polygamy tolerance will be accepted?

Do you think the fact that it tends be people who are deeply religious that are into that is holding it back?

He promised the overstock founder/ceo that he would make school choice a priority in Utah, and then reneged on the promise. The philanthropist was not amused.

So...if something is inevitable, people who wish to stop it/delay it should just give up?

I wonder if he applies the same logic to climate change?

With a ONE party system in this country, I have to agree that it is inevitable. Sure miss the good ole days.

The good ole days when more people thought the exact same way as you do now? Yet you complain about having a ONE party system? Sounds like you want a ONE party system that agrees with everything you believe.

What were the good ole days? I don't get it when people say this. WTF do they mean?

The world is pretty damn good now. I have my iphone6 on order, the iwatch will tell my dad before he has a heart attack he needs to go to the hospital, the new treatments saved my grandmother from dying of breast cancer, my 4 year old gets to video skype with his cousins in New York. So explain what the good ole days were? When people were dying in 30mph car crashes because they didn't have seatbelts?

Sorry for going off topic, but I will say that Huntsman would have handled this Middle East crisis beautifully.

Frankly I am amazed that gay marriage is not legal in every state yet.

The days when crusty old white, heterosexual men were in control, everybody was going to church on Sunday, and gays were in the closet.
