The owner/chef is on the run for murdering his girlfriend. I've always know he was a crazy fricker, my all time favorite restaurant

Yea, he was owner. Met him a few times, was there the night he shot a hole in the floor b/c he was pissed at a customer.

One of my baws was a barkeep there for several years in late 90s and early 2000s. He told me that man would kill someone one day

Dirty Red...you gotta find a new place to hold your jam sessions.
That's a damn shame...one of the few, good Shreveport spots in my opinion. Loved going there for some live music, a great meal, cigar and a few Guinness's.

A whole lot of shreveport musicians have jammed that place out. The whole situation is messed up. I used to sell beer to chef for about a year and every time I would go down there I felt a little un easy...I bet someone eventually buys it. I feel sorry for her family, what a shitty shitty thing to do.

Well, hell, now I got no reason to go back to visit Shreveport 
Some of my best times in med school were spent there. Chef was always a crazy one, but he could cook up a storm and then come shoot the bull with us over some scotch and a cigar. Even met Zach Galifianakis there. Sad day to lose that place

Always like the rotating wild game entrees on the menu. Their French onion soup was legit as well. Damn shame.

The 2014 Dwi wasn't to long ago. I knew about the assault charge but nothing about the animal charges. That's jacked.
