My dad had a military funeral, it was really cool. I am retired military but not looking for a military funeral,

Thanks and have a GREAT day!!!!

My grandad (WWII quartermaster and saw action in the Battle of the Bulge) and my great uncle (B-24 pilot in WWII) both had them and they were cool (as far as funerals go).

Thank you. I was to command a funeral detail in 1966, and was very nervous until I was given a new assignment. I cannot imaging going to funerals day after day.

Been to a couple of military funerals. The 21 gun salute and taps gets me everytime.

We did honors for a retired cop/Army officer once, so we did Taps followed by Amazing Grace on the bagpipes (courtesy of the police detachment). Not a dry eye around.

Had a full honors funeral for my paw paw yesterday. For a full year I had the honor to perform several military funerals. Also had to be a part on a few heroes ceremonies in Afghanistan.
