Do not know if posted as I did not search it. I bolded the SLC and MVFC teams. I think the MVFC is the SEC of FCS.

They have played Jax St and Central Michigan.
Lost by 3 in OT to Jax State @ Home
Lost by 4 to CMU @ CMU
So I guess I can see why they are still ranked.

Yep, you can't just look at records with the FCS poll. You actually have to look at results.

I do not think UTC should be ranked though. I think the SoCon and the CAA get breaks due to location and media around them.

Yeah, I looked up their schedule after seeing they were 0-2.
They really blew a chance to make the playoffs last year. Hopefully they can do something this year. I think Chattanooga would respond well if UT-Chattanooga fielded a decent team year in, year out.
People love going to the stadium for Chattanooga Football Club (soccer) games. The area around it (southside/Main St. area) has started to take off and has been revitalized.
Always happy to see the hometown team ranked though.

I disagree. I think we've had this conversation before, the CAA is legit. Over the last 10 seasons, the MVFC have had 2 different teams participate in the Division I National Championship game: Northern Iowa (2005) and North Dakota St (2010, 2011, 2012). Over the same period, the CAA/A-10 schools have made 7 appearances in the National Championship with 6 different schools: James Madison (2004), UMass (2006), Delaware (2007, 2010), Richmond (2008), Villanova (2009), Towson (2013).
*Bold years above mean that team won the title.

Just looking at the poll here are my for sures for playoffs right now in the MVFC and SLC
NDSU
UNI or Youngstown
Southeast
McNeese
Sam St
Now where do you get the others from?
The reason I only put in 2 MVFC is they will beat each other and if you have 3 or more losses you are done. I think that the 3 SLC teams are secure, as UCA SFA, Northwestern St just do not have the talent to compete as of yet. Plus with SMS beating NWS already at Turpin, it take away a SLC team and get a 4th in from MVFC, but again 3 losses probably not.
ETA:
We have had that discussion at times. But I disagree with you as I feel the CAA gets breaks into seeding and etc. It always seems they put the MVFC and SLC together and then make them travel somewhere.
I am not saying the CAA is not very good, I feel they get breaks some conferences do not and gain advantages.
But to be upfront and clear I am biased since I worked for a MVFC school.

FCS polls are as bad as FBS. Really a waste. With that being said I can't wait to watch SLU beat McNeese for the 3rd straight meeting.

Seedings? Maybe they do get beneficial treatment there. But I still think they're a top conference.
Honestly, I'm not sure the SLC gets 3 teams. MVC is going to get at least 2, Big Sky is a lock to get 2 (EWU and Montana) and maybe 1 or 2 more.
