Elitism learned in colleges taught by left wing commy pacifists that wouldn't know what the real world actually is if it hit them in the fricking face.
Rex is a perfect example.

Jews are democrats and they own the media. The only time the Jews are conservative is when Israel is threatened. The stock market drops, the Jews rob the Americans 401ks and fund Israel. It's pretty simple.

It doesn't, strictly speaking.

This. It all starts in academia which by and large leans left as well.

I mean yea, but there are tons of conservative people who went to college and are in the workforce.

1) Communist infiltration of colleges/universities in the 30s and 40s resulting in indoctrination of students, and then their students;
And
2) They want to "make the world a better place" instead of reporting the fricking news.

By that logic, shouldn't anyone with a college degree be a liberal?

Journalists are reformists at heart. They are looking for something wrong to report on.
Liberals typically want to change things and conservatives typically want things to stay the same. Hence, journalism's agenda often appears to have a liberal slant.
Strictly speaking, most media are pretty balanced when representing politicians and political elites. The obvious exceptions are media outlets that are expressly or implicitly partisan like Fox News, MSNBC, etc.

And they go into fields that are conservative and the classes required for them are taught by conservatives as well. We're talking about Economics, financing, accounting all kinds of business and such. The very nature of those fields are a breeding ground for conservatives, journalism is not.

So there are two majors in college now - business and journalism.
It is a bad argument, Sentrius.

So the only things that can be "wrong" are those by the right?

Nope. Wasn't trying to say that. Just that liberals want to change more things than conservatives, on the whole.
I also think journalists are responsive to power, so there are periodic fluctuations here. But on average, reformism trends liberal.

Pew conducted a poll and found journalists were 4 times more likely to be liberal than conservative. That's not a shocker. The profession attracts idealists who think they can make a difference with their journalism.

A field can't be conservative.

Conjecture. I've known economics professors who lean in all sorts of different directions. There certainly isn't anything innately conservative about Fiance, Economics, or Accounting.

How are they?

"idealism" my arse
They are collectivist because concentration of power makes them more powerful (and paid better). If everything flows from Washington then the public is a lot more interested in what Washington's mouthpieces say than they would be if power was distributed in the states. Centralized power means newsreaders at networks make $10 mil a year.
They are money grubbing motherfrickers just like anybody else.
