Also, they were already senior citizens when the Apollo astronauts walked on the moon.

Unless medical science comes a long way on quality in the next 50 years, I don't want to be within 20 years of that mark.

Heck, I think late 80s/early 90s would be pushing it and I had a number of relatives that made it that far in relatively good health.

I would take a great 75 or 80 over a miserable 115 all day, every day.

They were all technically old enough to fight in WWI except that the womenses weren't allowed in combat roles in the Great War.

That would suck, all your contemporaries dead.
