Take a look at which states have the largest GDP. Take a look at which states are most dependent on the federal government.
The only red states that are worth a damn from a production standpoint are Texas and Florida and both of those states ...

Your ability to travel will likely be limited the amount of gas in your vehicle at the time this happens. Not to mention roadways will be blocked almost immediately by vehicles running out of gas, breaking down or wrecking.
