Dr Verges needs to worry about it's struggling HS in NBR before going with this one. oh, I forgot....she's been neglecting it since she got the job.

Let Cristo Rey take over the old Redemptorist Campus.

Let Redemptorist build a new location somewhere off of Bluebonnet.

Redemptorist is slowly withering away due to its location.

Would love to see RHS move, but verges wouldn't want to try to get a budget together for it and watch the school die.....while she praises St mikes all day.

that is a good idea. Eventually location will kill Redemptorist.

Actually, they probably won't die. They will just take voucher kids in to replace the paying students that they are losing.

I'd say somewhere even closer to Ascension.

This, that school is on life support right now. I give it 2 to 3 years.

That's already happening, from what I heard they have around 125 students on vouchers.

The point of Cristo Rey is not for College Prep, it's for Job Prep and readiness.

Yep, seems like a good idea to move Redemptorist and put a school like that in NBR

Do we really need another private school in SBR?

I'll answer your question with a question:

Would you send your kid to Public School in SBR?

I'll hang up and listen.

Why not? As stated this one has a different purpose and Redemptorist could do much better in a different area. Move Redemptorist near the Bluebonnet/Siegen area

Hell no!!!! But are the private high schools full? Also, IF SG happens, another private school certainly will not be needed.

Don't get me wrong, I would love to see RHS move to SBR. I graduated from there and don't want to see the school die.

Then what's wrong with this school in its spot? Its not going after the same students so its not like it will take away from the other schools. And it will be a hell of a lot more successful than any other school in NBR

This school will serve kids in NBR. And even if St George were to happen, Catholic High/SJA, Episcopal and probably a handful of others will still provide a superior education to anything St George can.
