Dammit Bug. Add a question mark to your thread title. You had me thinking bottles were in town.

I've been spoiled by my beer runs. They happen to work out where i buy enough to last me a couple months. So when i look for an IPA here in BR, i'm usually disappointed. Other than Stone, i can't find anything i'm willing to buy to stock my fridge. But if we get some Sucks or Lagunitas IPA, i will be content.

FWIW, i'm looking for a crisp citrusy ipa around 6-7%.

Tried the Terrapin Hi-5 IPA?

I just got some yesterday while making a GITM run, haven't tried it yet though.

Late this month if we're lucky. More likely early October. Talking to the rep a few weeks ago, he said bottles will be super fresh when they do get here. From bottling line in Chicago to distributor in New Orleans in less than a day. Of course, since it's CC, they'll sit on it for weeks before sending it to us in BR.

It's good. I was going to say the same thing. Along with fresh Sweetwater IPA. Our Georgia breweries are good to us.

I think Hi-5 is better than Hopsecutioner. Lighter grain bill allows the hops to shine through a little more.

Is shite.

Probably a decent IPA twenty years ago but not worth a shite today.

Agreed. I enjoy it. I still think I prefer Sweetwater IPA more.

I will be very interested in trying SW's new double IPA called Hop Hash. It will be their new year around beer. If it is anything like their last Dank Tank Hash, it will be great.

I enjoyed the hi-5 as well. Is it seasonal or year around?
