I have no problem with this. Douchebags that take sports so seriously that they act in an abusive manner deserve to be locked up.

I think it's terrible with potential entrapment issues, and a product of the PC movement. Football games are supposed to be rowdy.

I can't believe the police tricked me into punching what I thought was just an average opposing fan!

And if I were the owner of the team and management, I would want our fans to conduct themselves to a higher level than demeaning and heckling beyond a certain point.

Some is all in good fun, some goes across the line.

Plus there are liability issues, I'm sure they learned from the Dodgers issue from a few years ago.

And 49ers games there are probably a huge hassle.

I see nothing wrong with it. Just don't assault anyone or threaten them and cheer for your own damn team and drink a few beers.

Where is the line? They even used the word "inconsiderate." Is saying "frick the Packers" to another fan's face abusive? I don't know.

People are going to claim the cop started it, and enticed them.

They can kick them out if they violate the contract they entered into when they bought the ticket.

It's not a right to attend the game.

This. I had to sit in front of a couple of unruly drunk fans who couldn't hold their liquor and unfortunately were rooting for ol LSU like me. 99% of everybody else, LSU and Wisc fans alike, were getting along just fine enjoying our respective teams highlights and lowlights. It only takes a couple of dickheads to piss on the moment...
