Standard 10 team league.
My starter is Reed.

Kelce. Easier to overtake Fasano for snaps than Gates. Plus we have already seen McCoy doesn't utilize Green enough.

I'm in the same boat. I have Green as my TE2 but Kelce is a FA and I've been eyeing him.
Edit:I dropped Green for Kelce. Ertz is my starter so I'll be swapping the 2 for matchups.

I pulled the trigger and dropped Green for Kelce. That's what my gut was telling me to do anyway.
What about Ertz, Kelce, and Rudolph. Which one of those would you want for your TE2 behind Julius Thomas?

They like Fasano. The thing about Gates is it seems like he's always got some sort of nagging injury that can take him out of play for a week or two at a time.

As a Gates owner last year I disagree. About week 8 they started to phase Gates out and starting looking to Green more. Expect more of that this year and earlier on in the season.

Green won't be relevant until Gates gets hurt or retires.
For the other question the answer is Rudolph. A lot of experts are hyping him up to have a big year....like top 5 big. If that's the case then you have great value and should be able to trade either him or Thomas

And they like Kelce more. They have to have Kelce on the field as they have shite as far as pass catchers go. He is their best receiving threat after Bowe.
They will also log a ton of 2 TE sets as their OL is weak.

lol
After their week 8 bye, these are the targets the two SD TEs saw. I'll let you guess who is who
10 - 1
8 - 1
6 - 5
8 - 5
9 - 6
6 - 1
3 - 0
3 - 1
5 - 2
Gates was 4th in receptions, 3rd in yards, and 4th in targets among TEs last year.
Kelce = sees a lot of snaps in 2014
Green = doesnt see as many snaps unless Gates goes down
Green is a pretty athletic TE @ 238. People dont realize Kelce's pro day wouldve put him in the top 5 of every combine workout @ 255. He'll be a household name after this year

I don't know about this.
Green looks poised to take a leap in production. He's a great size and it's kind of do or die for him. I think he shows he's the heir apparent to Gates this season. I'm not predicting the demise of Gates, but he's 34 and had suffered a couple of consecutive years with injuries. Green went from 50+ yards to pushing 400 in 2013. If he wants to be Gates II, this is the year.
I can't comment on Kelce, but he has a shorter and less impressive resume and plays on a team projected to do less scoring that Green.

Bump
Thinking of switching Kelce for Green if Gates is a no go.
