He is now broke and has to use a public defender for his appeal.
quote:

With only $23.65 in the bank, convicted former mayor Ray Nagin will get a federal public defender to handle his appeal, according to a court order issued Wednesday.

Hope the bank makes an error and accidentally deducts $25.00.

If you are convicted of a felony you should not be eligible for food stamps or any other public assistance.

No way he got his account to that balance without overdrafting.

There is nothing that could happen to him that would ever make me feel sorry for him.
I hope his wife leaves him for a white man.
I hope he sits in jail for a long time and then have to beg on a street corner when he gets out

frick no I don't feel sorry for that slimy piece of shite. Whatever. He probably has his meals and housing taken care of for the rest of his life anyway. I wonder what kind of accommodations they have him put up in.

I feel sorry for him that he didn't take a plea deal and admit that be fricked up.

Being that he was arrogant enough to think he was innocent, no I don't feel sorry for him one bit.

How does the VP of Cox Communications not have a retirement plan and stock options? Let alone, how does a city employee not have the makings of a pension plan?

If he showed any remorse I might. A little. A teeny tiny bit.

He neglected my pension and payraises for guys before my time. Leaving the city in millions of dollars of debt to city workers and guys owed hundreds of thousands of dollars.

I hope he rots under the jail.

Good thread, Fred

Not only is open to discussion about Nagin being a TPOS, we can also discuss the culture of social secuirty fraud/abuse
