I guess they missed a few plays. Look to me like there are 3 playmakers in the receiving corps.

It's Saturday Down South, which is basically Bleacher Report for the SEC.

I wouldn't get too worked up about it. Nowadays, any a-hole with a keyboard and an internet connection can blast their "expert" opinion out to the masses.

I read the article and what he said was spot on. What is wrong with some of you? Did you even take time to read the article. What part of what he said was inaccurate? Players that don't get on the field are not a threat. Fact!

Definitely BS

LSU has (imo) one of the deepest and most talented WR corps in the nation.

Where's that quote in the article? I didn't find it. Maybe the author edited that part out after you posted on TD? Did you read to the end? IMO the article is addressing the experience level of the receivers, not all that earth-shattering news but whatever.

Just funny how some of you half way read an article, then your imagination runs wild...

Ahhh, Football season is here!!!

FWIW here is the real quote...
quote:

Dural should continue to be the team’s home run threat and the unit’s anchor. Quinn and Diarse are good compliments. But the team needs other contributors. The next two weeks should present some great learning opportunities as the score gets out of hand.

Now John Diarse is going to eat the author's children. Sad story.

You do know that paraphrasing is required to be quoted, right?

The article doesn't say what your post quotes it as saying. Your quotes are phony. What the article says is that LSU needs to get more of its receiving corps into the game plan, and not focus so much on Dural. The article can be criticized for jumping to conclusions based on one game played in circumstances that (after LSU went down big) didn't permit experimentation. But it most certainly does NOT say that LSU needs more depth at the WR position.

Looks like to me the gist of article was that there is a lot of young talent at WR, not a lack of depth, which needs to be utilized.

That will come as the WRs get experience and as Jennings matures. It basically stated the obvious, and was not a negative piece. Really not a lot to disagree with.
