This is what I start to see the more times I watch Jennings play. Think he may even put up better numbers given the talent around him, but this is what ca,e to mind.
Thoughts?

Everything has to be a comparison. I agree. Let him be

Ugh enough completely different talent level. Much better passer. Oh and he is about 1/2 foot taller.

Jennings also reminds me of JaMarcus Russell, Melvin Hill, Marcus Randall and Jordan Jefferson.
Who am I missing?

Wow, how could I forget arguably my favorite Tiger of all time? Sorry, Ro.
But yeah, Jennings is basically a skinnier Rohan with a completely different skill set.

Much higher ceiling as a passer than Tyler.
Much lower ceiling as a runner than Tyler.

Tyler was usually pretty awful throwing from the pocket so not similar at all, IMO.

Sort of reminds me of a high school version of Russel Shepard.

He reminds me of Brett Favre.

Wasn't Herb a lefty? And Herb was a much better runner...and if my memory isn't too bad...his completion % wasn't bad at all...his biggest problem was the rest of the offense wasn't anything to write home about...esp. the OL...lol...he was like Archie with the "Aints...always running for his life...lol

He threw pretty well rolling out and otherwise on the run. Otherwise, not so much.

From 95-98 we consistently had one of the best O-line's in the SEC, a stable of talented backs and several very talented receivers.
