The wife and I have a vacation pretty much picked out for 2500 bucks, but before we book it we wanted to think of any and all other options that we could do instead for the same price.

2500 isn't our set budget or anything but for a 5 night vacation in the Caribbean at an all inclusive resort it's not bad. (Includes both flights too)

So if you guys have any other recs for around the same price or even a bit more but worth it I'd appreciate the rec.

Thanks.

It will be a good mix of relaxation and fun.

Chill/food/booze/some activities/go out some/etc.

I'm assuming you are from Louisiana. In that case, Destin or Gulf Shores . Maybe if you're feeling froggy you might go to Gatlinburg.

That's about what we paid for a 5 night all inclusive with flights in Playa del Carmen.

Was a great trip, would go again.

We did Costa Rica for 10 days for less than 4k. Included flights, hotels, transportation while there and all our excursions. Didn't include meals and spending money though.

It'll be mid October most likely so unless it's Mexico or the Caribbean the beach isn't really an option.
