How do I avoid being a nuisance on LinkedIn?

any settings to where i can set it up not ot email all of my fricking contacts every time i make a connection or something? i am always getting that shite from my friends so i dont want to annoy anyone, barely use it, just get on from time to time to keep my profile updated and approve connections

LinkedIn got me smooth busted before I realized people could see when you creep their profiles.

It doesn't bother me when they do it, but i try to view profiles when logged out

There's a setting that allows you not to be seen when viewing other's profiles, but if you turn it on you can't see who views your profile.
