If Apple doesn't offer the smaller screen with the bigger one...I'm done.

The main reason I have stayed with Apple is because the iPhone was the best phone that I could articulate with my thumb. It also fits perfectly in my pocket with a case.

I understand everyone wants a bigger screen....just seems stupid to get rid of this convienance and not offer it anymore. I could understand offering a larger screen model...but c'mon apple keep the standard size too...that's why I have a tablet. Now it looks like they'll offer 2 bigger screen sizes. fricking stupid. If Steve was still there...this would t fly.

Their also going to lose tablet sales unless they somehow come up with something mind blowing for the next gen iPad.

4.7 inches will be fine. I doubt you'll notice a lot of difference in usability.

The question is, where do you go if you aren't happy with it? There are no high end phones with 4 inch screens to my knowledge.

Two bigger sizes, not the 4" anymore. 4.7 and 5.5"

I know. That's what made them unique. Looks like a 4.7" and a 5.5". Why someone wants to hold a shoebox up their ear is beyond me. I can do everything with one hand even while driving. My 5s should be good for a while...but around another year or 2, the software updates will crash the phone. Really...iTunes drives me so mad at times that I think about switching all the time.

And I still bet the 6 smashes all sales records. I'll probably still end up with the 6 and I'm sure I'll get used to it.

Same thing wih the iPad...perfect size to articulate with two thumbs. The competition has done something different for the sake of being differnent then Apple (in some cases)...Apple shouldn't do the same wih the competition.

Yeah... I guess I was just saying there would be a "smaller" one.

The 5S with a 4" screen will still be available for $99 on contract.

Your ignorance is strong.

Also, have you ever held a 5.5" phone? I have relatively small hands and my oneplus fits fine in my hand. Shoe box shite my arse

Yeah...my wife has a galaxy...my sister has a big arse lg. sorry if my opinion bothers you. Your ingnorance is on display...not mine.

Tablets will all conform to the 12" variety with detachable keyboards...which about defeats the point of a tablet and will take the place of a laptop.

i was freaked out by the increase in size of the iphone 5, and I barely noticed a difference. I am going to go with the 4.7" model when it goes out but big phones are the future.

eta: making phone calls was #4 on the uses of the smart phone in 2013 (no link). text, internet and social media all trumped it. phone is a major misnomer for the device.

What exactly are you going to be done with? Not many other quality options on the market that are as small as the iphone.

Tablet sales will not be hurt by bigger phones. Android tablets have yet to be hurt and android has had 5.5"+ phones for a while

I heard they're also offering a larger iPad in 2015. The current is 9.7 inch and this one will be 12 something.

So what are you going to switch to? Android? Then your only choice is a mid-range Android device because none of the Android flagships are less than 5"...you know that right? Most Android flagships are now pushing 5.3"-5.5" in size.

I still want the return of a physical keyboard. Maybe it's just me but text prediction and virtual keyboards and all that still arent up to snuff with what I could do with a BlackBerry without looking 10 years ago.
