The wife is asking if I want to go but I know nothing about the event. If you have gone in the past couple years, is it worth it? TIA

The only thing I know about it is that they had a contest to name the event. They didn't choose my suggestion - "Skanks and Tanks"

This is closer to reality.

In my experience beer events in Louisiana that dont have local homebrewers participating are rarely worth the price of admission.
Some distributors / craft breweries hold back decent kegs for these events, but typically its just all you can drink grocery store shelf turds for 'x' hours.
ETA: 'Skanks and Tanks' is a much better name
