BA has unveiled his top 10 burger list with Company Burger being his #1. That's a solid choice as it's certainly in the discussion.
nola

The rest of the list appears to be some kind of regional diversity tour.

I've only had 6 of the 10 burgers he's listed. One I haven't tried, Atomic Burger seems like a peace offering to Jefferson Parish. The Sammy's burger is good, but probably not a top 15 burger.

What do you think of this list.

#1 Company
Alphabetical:
Atomic
High Hat
La Petit
Mcclures
Mint Viet
Mondo
Port of Call
Sammy's
Toups

Most woeful omissions?
Certainly, Cowbell and Luke. Others?

Luke is a huge miss.

My top 5 which I've posted here before:

1. LPG
2. Luke
3. Cowbell
4. Truburger
5. High Hat

Cowbell not being on there is insane.

Kick Mint to the fricking curb and put in Cowbell, but I do understand why he has Mint on there (needed something "different".)

Fairly new place on Vets in Metairie. Pretty solid IMO, and seems to be run by good people that can take criticism and fix their product.

I have never heard of Mint Viet- what/where is that?

Never had Toups, High Hat or McClure's.

I've had the rest. I've always liked Lakeview Harbor/Port of Call the best, but Company Burger is right up there.

Atomic is a place on Vets near Cleary. The burger is decent, but overpriced for a fast food burger- something like $12 for a burger, small coke, and fries- similar to Five Guys on Carrollton.

I've had the kimchi burger at Mint. It was okay. Better in theory than in execution though. The burger patty was quite under-seasoned. Cowbell easily knocks it out the list.

Is it a chain? I never go to Metry. I'm not being a dick about it, I just don't have any business/reason to go out there.

It's a new Vietnamese place on Freret.

Full name is, Mint Modern Vietnamese Bistro & Bar.

I recommend fixing that problem, as both are top notch.

It has the outward appearance of a chain, but, to my knowledge, it is the only one.

Pricing is similar to Five Guys.

Burger, to me, tastes like Lee's.

Not bad, but I was hoping for better.

The Burger at Toups is absolutely great. That and Company are probably my two favorite.

Yeah, I've had the burger at Mint. It was pretty good and "different", but nothing special imo.
