Version that came out around 2000. Never thought it got enough cred. Was very solid. What a way to plot revenge.

I thought it was pretty good. Luis Guzman is one of my favorite character actors.

A decent film adaptation but the book is better.

Edmond: What if I win and I don't want to be a smuggler?
Luigi: Then we slit your throat, and we're a bit shorthanded.
[pause]
Edmond: [smiles after consideration] I find that smuggling is the life for me, and would be delighted to kill your friend the maggot!

I have it properly rated. And most people seem to rate it highly.

The movie is fantastic entertainment like Shawshank.

Underrated: Frequency

I enjoyed it. Thought Jim Caviezel (sp?) was great in it.

You are so bitter about Superman. You should do a fan fiction. I'd like to see your take. Honestly.

Hey Breesus, I've never read it. Is it worth reading? Or is it one of those books you make yourself read in high school because you have to?
