quote:

“James has been as good a leader as we’ve had for this team,” Krzyzewski said. “He has a great personality. He is an upbeat guy, smart, and he’s obviously very, very talented. With this group, especially after Kevin left, he has asserted himself even more as an older guy. I know him, he knows me, because we have worked together. He’s really one of our key guys. There is no question about it.”

quote:

Krzyzewski doesn’t know if Harden going to Houston from Oklahoma City helped in his maturation, but he sure seems thrilled with the way Harden has performed for Team USA this summer.

“I don’t how maturity develops when I’m not around it all the time,” Krzyzewski said. “I just know that he’s one of the best players in the NBA. And having this responsibility here will only make him better. These guys get better after playing in this, because they go to places that they don’t necessarily go to on their own teams, whether it be in a subordinate role at times, a leadership role, the key player, the good talker, or whatever. James checks every box. I love James. We have a great, great relationship. That communication between the two of us can translate to even better communication with the guys on the court

LINK Props to coach K Maybe he'd like to coach James and Dwight in the NBA in 2015.

Anthony Davis cares. James Harden is his savior and King.

Remember that time Anthony Davis led his team to better than a last place finish in the division or even a winning record?

Yeah, neither do I.

It's funny how threatened Rockets fans are of the Pels fans.

I mean, to get all rustled and take shots at AD after a Pelicans fan deadpanned "no one cares". You guys sure seem on edge.

I don't hop into every Pels thread on Pelican Talk with "No one cares," and if I did, I'd get the ban hammer.

How do you know if you haven't tried?

Don't be afraid to try new things.

Eric Gordon is saying he's healthy. That's getting worse in my opinion.

What does that have to do with Anthony Davis?

P.S... Pelicans got a little better because they added the Rockets' back-up center as their starter.

You're welcome.

Thanks for the draft pick by the way. When Anthony Davis fails to carry his team to a winning record again, it will be a nice trade chip.

Meh he's being more involved and upbeat which is nice.

He'll contribute which is all we ask.

That and other things.

They have a much better chance of keeping that pick than not. Even if(key word) we give you guys that pick. It'll be what 16th 17th? We'd rather have asik than a mid range pick.

Your opinion sucks.

Y'all will probably be 4th in the division next year.
