Trade is straight up. I already have L. McCoy but want that next stud at rb. This is predraft btw.

We are in a 2 keeper league so I have Thomas and McCoy right now.

Would Charles for Thomas change your opinion? This guy really wants D. Thomas.

Yes Charles would change my mind. There's enough good receivers available to land later if u can have 2 of the top 4 guys on ur squad. Congrats on the championship

Interdasting. I would still be tempted to keep DT88 though.

Do you know all the keepers yet? Any way you can get an idea who will be on the board for 1st round and where you'll be drafting? That might would play a factor for me.

This makes sense too, but I'm still keeping Charles over DT88. As soon as Manning retires DT88 stock sinks

Off the board:

Peterson, McCoy, Charles, Forte, Lynch, C. Johnson, J. Graham, D. Murray, Dez Bryant, D. Thomas, AJ Green, Brees, A Rodgers, Gronk.

My first pick is 13.

Charles is 27. He's at least in his prime (age-wise), if not past it, for an RB. I would put his production decline on a similar track to Manning's (which is obviously tied to DT88 for now).

Not to mention, I don't have stats, but injury/bust risk seems much higher for an RB over time than a WR.

ETA: I'm still torn though

If I'm reading his question, he has to give up DT88 to get Murray. That would be a terrible trade. If he gives up DT88 to get Charles, then that's a great trade, IMO. Shady and Charles as your core RB plus whoever he gets at WR in the draft will be tough to beat.

My first reaction: keep D. Thomas.

I see your reasoning, but I would not take Charles regardless. D. Thomas is going to playing after Charles retires. Even if Charles outlasts Peyton, you won't want him then. I have this feeling that Peyton is sticking around until he has at least as many rings as Eli. DT88 is safe for a while and the guy is a beast.

Don't be an idiot. Keep him.

Thomas will have more overall points. This one is a no brainer for me. Keep him.

If you have McCoy AND Charles on your team you will most likely walk to the championship unless you collapse when you draft WR's
