Advice needed on removal of 1st Vienna Sausage

squeeze the can. it usually gives some room to get the first one out

1. Turn can upside down over trashcan
2. Let gravity happen
3. Recycle can
4. Eat something less repulsive

Are you kidding me? They are most repulsive on a cold day in the duck blind when all of the juice congeals.

To make them less repulsive, slice in half lengthwise and put atop a saltine topped w a strip of American cheese. Stick in the toaster oven or under the broiler until the cheese browns. Not haute cuisine, but proof that even terrible ingredients taste a little better with care.

there may be no single better food item to be enjoyed whilst fishing (especially saltwater) than the humble Vienna Sausage. The fact that they turn green on a hot summer day 30 minutes after opening the can should be of no concern. they may look repulsive, but they are manna to the gods around 11am/noon in the Dularge Eagle Bayou area.

My favorite hurricane food! Brings back memories of Gustav.
