Want water front/not a party area/decent freshwater fishing options. Multi generational use by parents/children/grandchildren. Within two hours of Baton Rouge.

Why limit yourself to freshwater?

Going back for a family viewing of one at verret next weekend. Want to explore all options. Have six freshwater boats and zero larger boats. It is what we have always done.

I go to B. Tranquille on Lake Verret once a year. Plenty of nice places there.

so, it actually swallowed up your camp or did it just put the area off limits?...

A nice high end camp or just a camp?

Stephensville would be my first choice with anywhere on belle river being a close second.

You can buy ours on Toledo Bend. I little bit of a drive but well worth it.

Ideally want to stay under $200k. Looking at bayou tranquille/lake verret around $250k currently. Do not want leased land.

Good luck in finding something w/o leased land. I hope you're able to.
