I'm in Cancun have my eye on this Omega Seamaster. Of course it is at a reputable dealer. Question is what is a good price on this.... every thing I can find online says $4400 and I can get it here for $3700. Would you buy it and sneak past customs or wait and get it in the US LINK

I do like the watch. I have a 69 Seamaster and it's still rocking and rolling.

I think US dealers are no longer able to discount, so you may see the difference there because of that.

False. I could get that same watch a little cheaper and likely used. Sounds like an ok price though. Wear that fricker home, take the warranty card and paperwork with you and stick it in your wallet. Then have the dealer mail you the empty box as a gift.
AND FYI, it's $3350 on Amazon.

I'd def pull the trigger there. I bought my Seamaster Pro from an AD at a great discount, but I'd heard all that was coming to an end.

Yea just buy it on amazon for $300-400 less.

Everything I found that was supposed to be tax free/duty free in Mexico, could be found for the same price somewhere online. I was looking to get a watch while down there and really didn't find any prices that made me want to buy right then and there.

Look at jomashop.com, they had a big sale on Omega watches last week. I'm not positive of that watch but the prices were close to that.
