He works when he wants to, he's a strange bird, he never shuts up and he's a former Rolex and Omega master watchmaker. He knows his shite but he might take a while.

My worry is not putting it on the declaration form of everything we buy and getting caught up in customs. Do like the idea of shipping the box back

Did they have Speedmasters? That's the one you'll wear if you ever end up getting a nicer watch. If you splurge for a Sub one day, you'll never wear the Seamaster (opinion), but the Speedmaster holds up against almost anything.

Hijack- Broke, is Amazon a legit place to buy watches? Is it just like other major wholesalers- check the feedback/ratings and hope for the best?

Yes. They are usually called Grey market dealers and they will either provide a warranty or the warranty is provided by the watch company. I've never done it but I would buy one from Amazon.

They won't unless his wife rats him out.

Are you going to sneak it back like on tiptoes, or just wear it back?

Thanks for the input. My intention was to look at the submariner and had done no research on the Omega but it was love at first site. Let's see how it goes tonight. Hope AMEX doesn't have issues. Haven't used card in months and certainly not yet in Mexico
