Don't have the full list. Just what was listed in the hard copy magazine.

Bloomberg Magazine's website kind of sucks...it always freezes up my computer.

The ConocoPhillips is a great deal if you put in 1%. Do they match more than 9% if you put in more?

This is American companies only.

I know for a fact that Shell and TransCanada are better than Conoco.

I would rather have PM that contributes 15% for 0%.

This list is stupid. How is 9 for 1 better than that?

My company is on the list too and isn't nearly high enough.

What does their base pay and benefits look like? Is there an offset there?

Can you elaborate? I know Shell is only a 2.5% match for the first 5 years, then 5% up to 10 years and 10% after that. They also have a pension, but it's dependent on tenure, base salary, among other factors. I'm pretty sure the pension taps out at 16% as of now.

There is no match. They contribute regardless of your contribution. It's 5% to the 9th year and 10% past that.

They did recently make some pension changes that got rid of the annuity for new employees. I don't know the specifics of it. The annuity plan in 60% of the average of your final 3 years.

No match, straight contribution.

The pension "tops out" at 16%, but that's accumulated per year. Age+Years of service gives you a point total. <30 points=3%/year; 30-40=4%/yr; 40-50=6%/yr, etc. when you leave the sum of all accumulated %'s is multiplied by final salary.

Agreed. List is strange. Must have something to do with investment options, or vesting period or something else not shown on the table.
