I have a Tempurpedic (Celebrity I think) Cali-King that's about 6 years old that I love. I hate not sleeping on it. My only complaint is that it gets very hot throughout the night on the area that you lay on, but other than that I feel it was worth the investment and I would buy it again. It was $3500 but it is worth it imo.

Probably depends on your preference.

I'm sure there's a Mattress Firm store in an obscure corner of every nearby strip center near you.

I have a king, sealy gel memory foam. Never gets hot, takes a while to break in... But, it's comfortable and is about 1/2 of a tempurpedic

Buying mattresses is like buying used cars. Lots of bullshite out there. Scumbag industry.

Rule of thumb - if it's under about $1500 it's a total piece of shite no matter what they tell you.

If you're in BR go to the old Musso Electronics building. A guy now runs a mattress shop out of it and will make you a custom mattress better than anything youll find in any mattress firm or furniture store and it'll be several hundred dollars cheaper too. He's an older guy that's a friend of mines father in law. Good guy. Thank me later.

i bought a Saatva mattress. Its an incredible mattress for under $1000. Bought the luxary firm but it was too firm so that are switching it out for the plush top.

Not true. ENSO brand is a great mattress (I am in the furniture business) under $1500.

actually right now its miserable and ive switched to my old mattress. but im hoping the change out to the softer version is better. regardless i can tell its an extremely well made mattress and would cost a lot more if bought in store.

Hey baw, it wasn't a brag or anything. Spending that amount of money on a bed it outrageous. Once I got over the shock of the price tag and swallowed my pride and purchased it, I realized it was a wise decision. You spend 1/3 of your life in bed. Sleep is a very very important thing so if you can spend a little extra money to have a superior product used for something that everyone HAS to do, why not do it? I was just stating my opinion.
