hypothetical: deceased spouses pics

What if a spouse dies and the other spouse remarried down the road. Should they display the pics of the deceased in the house or would that cause probs?

Within reason I think it would be okay. Especially if it were for the kids involved.

The pics could be hung in the kids room or something like that if kids are involved. Shouldn't be in bedroom period and not prominent in common areas.

My mother died in 09 an my dad remarried a year ago and there are still pics of my mom at the house and at his office.
