Any of you folks from out of town planning to head over for the Wisconsin game? For those that are, will you be coming in Friday night, or possibly earlier?
I haven't decided whether to go to the game, but would be down for a gathering on Friday night, and can help out with the planning if needed.

I'm thinking of it. I was planning on going visit my cousin in AZ but that fell through.
I have Friday off. So may possibly drive up Thursday or early Friday.

If it was my house yes. I've actually not even made any arrangements yet but I got enough friends over there to just show up.

I have a $30 credit with Uber too

I'm going with some friends. Not sure of exact details, but I think our hotel is a couple blocks from Flying Saucer. While I'd prefer Petrol Station or Hay Merchant, walking trumps those. Will be there late Thursday for early Friday golf then whatever after that.

I'm also staying in the Heights for the weekend. I'll be in town starting Wednesday for work staying at the Doubletree downtown if any of you degenerates want to meet.

Wise we could easily share an Uber to Hay Merchant for 30 bucks. And I assume you put in my code? As soon as you take your first ride I'll also get a free one for the return trip.

Are you driving Wise? may need to meet you at Specs if that's cool so I don't have to sneak my beer haul on the plane. PSA - you can get a round trip flight to Houston from MSY for under $200 right now. As low as 120 on certain days with SWA.

Yes, I'll need my car to get around once I'm in town. Sure I can haul some beer back.

I'd rather uber to the petrol station

I went to some bar with my customers that has Turtle races. Place was pretty cool and they have a few spots...what's the bar called? Actually had a great beer selection. I mean if you like middle tier mass produced breweries like Lagunitas & Firestone.

I'm staying at Club Quarters Friday and Saturday and I believe that is on the same block as Flying Saucer.

You should check out Revelry, it just opened and right down the street from Jackson's and much nicer.

steakbombLSU posted this:

Great new beer place, Beer Market Co on corner of Wash and Montrose.

Extremely solid beer selection, liquor license, food, lots of tvs, and live music.

Like Hay Merchant but better, may be my new favorite place. Check it out.

let's do it

It's a good spot. It would be a good place to eat/get hammered and be able to watch all the Friday night games while drinking good beer.

We were talking about doing something like that Friday night and starting off gameday at Lil wood and heading to the train to stumble our way down to the game. Everyone I know is coming in for this game. Literally. Should be an awesome weekend.

I can stay with with a friend or two if I need that weekend.
I used my free Uber trip in NY.
I'll need to make some arrangements so we can have a FBD party

The wife and I are heading in for sure, have tickets already. We'll be leaving Friday after work, so likely won't get into town until late.
