I mean, I guess technically he's right, it's just weird that it's one of his 5 observations. Being on the bubble doesn't guarantee being cut, so being that he isn't on the bubble, but may be on the bubble is correct, it just really isn't saying anything.

Him, Morgan, Meachem, Tanner and undrafted guys like Coleman and Jones are fighting for two spots, but you have to think that Toon is a leader for one of the two spots. Just strange to see him say that, especially considering that Toon is having a good camp.

I think he has been given every opportunity. Its all or nothing for him at this point. That being said, I am all aboard the Brandon Coleman train.

I am pulling for Toon, but at this point, I am glad for the competition and feel confident that the guys we end up with will be an upgrade over our whole WR situation last year. So, I am happy with whoever it is.

Toon has been getting plenty of compliments from others, including Payton.

If I had to guess, there's only so much one person can see while watching a practice, and King might have just said that to have something to say.

This is not new. Morgan, Toon, Meachem, Tanner, also a couple of undrafted FA's. Not all of these guys will make the team.

You guys are reading way too much into what Peter King has to say. The guy visited one day.

you don't want toon to step up and be a player in this offense? That's weird.

Why is that weird? He's inconsistent. I would much rather one of our younger guys step up.

sure but if toon were to step and be a player, would that not mean he's dropped the consistency issues?

I'm not going to root against a guy based on a very small sample size.
