I've never really seen this BBC America show mentioned on here, but I saw it on Netflix and decided to give it a go.
I'm only 3 eps in so far but I really like it. The storyline is interesting and the acting is pretty good. My only complaint so far is that the women on the show aren't really that good looking. Hopefully that will change as new characters are introduced.

For those who have never heard of this show. Its set in 1860's NYC and features Irish police detectives(the coppers), hookers, freed men of color, and a rich family trying to buy up all of the area in 5 points.
Definitely worth a watch.

I liked the first season and stopped watching two episodes into the second season. Then it got canceled.

The first season was pretty good. The second was so-so. I didn't know it was cancelled.

I loved it, was on BBC on cable here. They stopped production after the 2nd season, which I liked. Their Googled website says there are not plans currently for production. No plans for season three. The bad guy went to the Vikings show and now will be on the new New York city cop show in the fall. Saw him on advertisements. The show had BBC reruns once that I got to see, but not right now.
