Has Omar Little from The Wire helped improve gay acceptance?

Sports writer Jason Whitlock just said, on ESPN, that he used to hate gays and "use the F word" but Omar little made him accept gay people.

Omar didn't give motha frickas a choice on whether or not to accept him. He comes rollin up on you with that shotgun, acceptance is moot.
