Gafftop catfish can make you trip balls?

I'm sure this has been discussed, but I've never seen it on here. Growing up big bro always told me that if you licked the head of a gafftop you could trip really hard. He claimed a buddy of his did it. Any truth to this myth that yall know of?

we talked a buddy of ours in to trying this before. he looked like a dumb-arse doing it and an even bigger dumb-arse when he insisted that he "got something" from it.

With Vibrio vulnificus in the water...as well as other waterborn pathogens...I think you run the risk of more than just "tripping". Maybe tripping into a casket...your own.
