Where to bring a friend that has kids and a wife

Trying to find a decent place in metairie that is kid friendly to eat that has pretty good food. He is staying around lakeview mall.
Any ideas? I'm thinking maybe Tower of Pizza. His kids are all pretty young.

If the parents want something other than the pizza place, there is a place two blocks off of Causeway named Mr. Ed's Oyster House.
New Orleans Food and Spirits or R&O's in Bucktown would work too.

This is pretty much why Metairie exists.
Not sure how young the kids are, but they might enjoy Shogun. Kids usually like the hibachi show.
