In other news related to LSU football, Strength and Conditioning Coach Tommy Moffitt was interviewed on Baton Rouge’s ESPN 104.5 Morning Show yesterday and spoke highly of the team’s condition. Moffitt stated that the team reported to summer workouts in the best shape of any group he’s had, and that’s saying a lot. He also dished out praise for several players, including freshmen wide receivers Trey Quinn and Malachi Dupre. According to Moffitt, Dupre recorded a 42-inch vertical jump, and Quinn is pushing almost 22 MPH in the sprint, which he said is in line with the fastest time Odell Beckham, Jr. moved in any game last season.

With this year's class (2014) I have really high hopes for the next 3 years!

So when he's running an all out sprint on a track he's almost as fast as Odell Beckham on a football field with pads?

I knew he could run, but I like the quote by Moffit saying he has OBJ speed. Gives a better perspective than just saying dude runs fast.

Quinn and Dupre are going to set all of the records for the best duo of LSU WRs.

the vertical is a bigger deal than his speed.

That screams explosiveness and quickness

Quinn is going to be a monster. I love how the nation is really overlooking this kid. Someone post that one handed sideline catch. Sweet Jesus!!!

This was my concern. Also, who was clocking Odell during games?

With LF in the backfield and a QB with a little freedom, I don't see what stops this offense.
