No doubt Quinn's fast, but comparing speed in shorts to game speed wearing pads is apples/oranges.

Lets not assume that he is a kid that slows down with pads on, quite the opposite and his film shows that.

There is only one OBJ. He is special and there will never be another one. Same with Jarvis. You do not replace guys like that. We need to let these kids be who THEY are and quit the comparisions, but I guess it is July and some need something to talk about. I think Coach Moffitt just wanted the fans to know that this group is working as hard as ever and controlling what they have control over which is their attitude and effort.

Where did it say he was on a track or not in pads?

Well he said "in sprints" and I don't think they are practicing in pads yet

I didn't realize they had software that was used to track stuff like that using the game film. That is pretty spiffy stuff.

The fact that Hunter can accelerate as fast as Odell is impressive.

Jesus. Relax guy. I don't think anyone is comparing them on a football field and their abilities as a football player. Speed is a pretty factual thing though. You can pretty easily compare speed.

Well, he won't run any faster in restrictive clothing with several pounds of extra weight, that's all I'm saying. The kid is fast, and will surprise a lot of people who haven't been following him, but let's wait until we see him on the field in September before drawing any conclusions about his football speed.

That is the same vertical Spud Webb had in college. LINK

Kid's going to make a lot of LSU fans happy and make a lot of money in the NFL.

Biletnikoff was all about route running and hands. Not speed. Maybe Quinn becomes Biletnikoff with speed. Sick combo. Great for us.

He'll be as fast or faster than he was in high school. We already know he can fly in pads. He'll be about as fast as Odell in pads.. (4.43)
