What is the board's take on red wine blends?

I've never tried any. Heard good things from bad sources.

They are fine


Most so called wine experts on here would never pass a blind taste test on brands or years, etc

I'm not sure what specifically you're asking when you say blends. Most of the great red wines are blends.

A blend is fine. Many wines advertised as a certain varietal are actually blends. They don't have to label it as a blend if 75% or more of the wine is one grape.

Try a Rudd red wine. They don't make anything but blends. They are fantastic
