Need one to put my fish in. I looked at this one LINK but it's only 20in long and I would like one a bit bigger.

Any suggestions? I don't want to spend a fortune.

You have an FS12T, correct?

I'm looking for the same thing. I want something that can hold a couple of 27" fish.

I have this. It's held up so far. Durable material.

Fits comfortably in the front hatch on my Redfish 12.

ditto

i've been scouring sporting goods stores/departments for a decent bag or the perfect cooler that will fit in the well on my yak. i can't find anything that's no wider than 16" and no longer than 28". 16x28 is the perfect size.

i carry a big lsu insulated bag that will hold fish and ice for a little while (4 hours max) but if i had a real soft-sided cooler, it could be a little larger.

I would look into Seattle Sports bags. Many different sizes offered.

I have the Columbia fish bag(no link, on phone) and like it so far. It fits perfect behind the seat and I secure it with a couple small clips to some ilets that are factory on the FS12T.

Is that it on the front of the yak?

If you are in the price range, this has to be on your list to check out. I don't think anyone has them locally though. Columbia Fish Bag

The story goes: it was designed and tweaked right here in Louisiana and surrounding Gulf waters specifically for kayaks. I forgot the original name of the company but Columbia bought the patent, slapped their name on it, and added $20 price tag. If I didn't have a built in fish cooler in my yak, this Columbia fish bag would be my cooler.

ETA: this is the one YOURADHERE is talking about

Yeah, you won't find much better for the price.

Looks nice. Unfortunately, I needed something a little different.

Right behind the seat. I don't have any close up pics but it was way bigger than I expected but still has a smaller footprint than the 25qt Igloo I used to use and will hold ALOT more fish. Comes 2 removable liners. So you can toss your drinks in the bottom of the bag and you fish inside the liner and keep your drinks/food free of fish slime.

Damn, I see it now. That might be bigger then I'm looking for. I want to put it on the front. So, the Seattle one that someone posted may be a better option.

See, I have a smaller cooler with rod holders for drinks and food but it won't hold many fish or any big fish. I want one for the front of the yak.

That is correct. Several of us in BCKFC initiated a request for this bag through California Innovations (aka Arctic Zone Coolers). They got in touch with us for design concepts and we went through two or three prototypes before they had a bag they pitched to Columbia. The result was a great bag designed by Louisiana kayak fisherman.

Can you get me measurements on the base? Amazon says 28x3x19. That can't be right. It's in my shopping cart but I'd like to know the actual measurements before I check out.

If no one beats me to it I'll try to remember to get them for you when I get home on Sunday. It really is a great bag. I'll likely never use another hard sided cooler on the yak again.
