So two Fridays ago I was enjoying a little late afternoon day drinking at Radio Bar

Also before it's said, this is more about the social commentary of BR dive bars than the actual food or drink served there, so that's why I posted on the OT

I had to butter up the timid with something familiar.

Time Out Lounge burned down, not the patio.

Nah, Port always had a pretty social atmosphere (at least when I used to frequent it). I wouldn't lump it in with the others on the list. It had a lot of patrons in their mid-20s to mid-30s.

Should probably define old school dives.
Port is dingy if that's your definition of dive. But the regulars are industry workers who are like 21-35.
Kinda like overpass.. Those bars may be run-down, but they attract a semi "hip" crowd too.

That was Time Out Lounge that burned. Also it seems like the former Time Out inhabitants have spread all over town to other dives.
Phil Brady's definitely makes the list. We just used to go there a lot so it wasn't included in our excursion.
