quote:

Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren says she's not seeking the White House.

"I'm not running for president and I plan to serve out my term," Warren, who's up for reelection in 2018, said in December.

But she sure is acting like a potential 2016 contender. She's traveling around the country, introducing herself to voters, testing her message -- the sort of thing that candidates do.

That's what former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is doing on her book tour. Sen. Rand Paul is on his ideas tour and Gov. Chris Christie is raising money for Republican governors.

And like Clinton, Warren now has an organized group supporting her and encouraging her to run. Ready for Warren also has a petition as well as a Facebook campaign and a Twitter feed to rally support.

First female and Native American president, all in one. Two birds with one stone.

Well, one of those is certainly a lie, and the other is open to question.

I hope her debate adversary hands her an Indian head dress as a token of respect before the debate.

The fact that liberals fawn over this slag who indecently leveraged the heritage of such a undermined people for personal gain is the zenith of their unyielding hypocrisy.

Please let her run! Best thing the Dems could ever do to help the GOP would be to nominate Elizabeth Warren.

I'm convinced this is a media creation, an elaborate ruse, or some poorly contrived joke. She barely got elected as a democratic Senator in Massachusetts. I take pains not to shite on the President (since God knows that's one thing that this board has no shortage of) but if his election means that every first-term progressive Senator thinks it's time to run for president, I will officially furrow my brow.

I like Warren as she seems to be one of the few in Congress that is genuinely concerned for the average citizen. But I don't think she's ready to be president.

Does anyone honestly think the country is in the mood for some more good old fasioned academic progressivism. I'm sure she'll be a fine Senator for her state and may find her way into a liberal cabinet in the future.

I hope to God she never gets elected president.

My friend, the article is from CNN. I have a feeling that there are many on the Left that want to see her run. Many. She is (somewhat) the anti-Hillary in their mind's eye. And as a Conservative, I am hoping she does so we can offset the abysmal job we have done as late of getting someone elected for President.

I think you may be underestimating the sheer stupidity and zombie-like mindset of this country's voting populace.

Unfortunately, I would not be surprised if she was the next president. That's how little hope I have.

I can't tell if it's the GOP pushing this narrative, or if the dems want to offer her up as a sacrificial lamb, get everybody riled up about the war on wimmenz, and sneak Hillary in the side door. Or maybe they'll sacrifice Hillary to sneak Warren in the side door?

There is not a single individual politician in Washington that is genuinely concerned for the average citizen. Not a single one.
