So my brother dropped on me tonight that he wants his bachelor party in 3.5 weeks. I've planed a couple bachelor parties before, but none in a 3 week time frame. I know a lot of you vacation in the Gulf Shores/Orange Beach/Destin/30A area. I haven't been over there in a decade and was hoping some of you could help me figure out exactly where to go/stay/what do. First things first, where would the best place to stay be? We're going to be laid back, nothing crazy. Only me, my brother, and two of his friends.

Stayed at the Phoenix West a few weeks ago. No hookers and blow. :sadbanana

But they did have some loose broads from LA at Live Bait.

Forget my first suggestion. Just read this.

Check out the Portofino in Gulf Breeze. It's really nice and doesn't get too crazy on the island. No water parks or putt putt places.

Just seen the laid back deal. Charter a boat and fish for Marlin and Tuna I recommend the island girl just in case you wanna rethink the boat paddle deal.

Phoenix X sucks. The Mediterranean is on the other side of the Florabama and is much nicer.

The Mediterranean is nice. We stay there once in a while.
Walk to florabama, liquor store, Waffle House, and BBQ....you don't need much else.

I have a condo in Indigo down the beach a ways but I wish I had bought closer to Orange Beach. Find a condo to rent around Florabama. Anything within walking distance on either side is good. Here are two good sites to check...

As far as stuff to do...
-Call Capt Chris for deep sea fishing trip. 850-712-1727
-Definitely check out Florabama on Fri or Sat night
-Gentlemen's club in Pensacola...
www.sammysonline.com
-Golf is pretty much mandatory on a bachelor party
Peninsula Golf and Country Club is a great track.
-Then there's the beach and all the girls in bikinis.

Flora Bama.

DO NOT go to the Gulf Shores Hooters. Absolutely gross.

I'm sure there will be tons of bachelorette parties at FloraBama. When I went for a bachelor party we found two different bachelorette parties and they came back to our condo and partied with us. I brought a bunch of cigars. There are also some good golf courses in the area if you wanna do that.

If you have enough people, rent out a house. Did that for a friend's bachelor party in Pensacola Beach, it was great... then did the same for another bachelor party in Gulf Shores, also a great time.

When we were there we first met this bachelorette party that was pretty ugly, but it was still fun because they were in party mode... Then we found this party that was MUCH hotter and we ditched the ugly ones for the hot ones. Was pretty awesome.

I think the FloraBama is a hotbed of bachelor and bachelorette parties.

Edit. Should have said only one not married or engaged in our group
